This Homozygous Black bull is one of the best bulls we have raised. He is a son of CHBH Black Socks 8502. At 87% he is just shy of being one of the best purebreds in the ABHA. He had an impressive weaning weight ratio of 110. He is sitting in the top 5% for his weaning weight, yearling weight and total maternal EPDs. He is top 15% in both indices as well. We are using a ¾ brother in our herd heavily and this bull has seen light use this winter for Wolf Black Herefords.
1801 is a son of High Roller out of a really good cow line from Jo Bulls. He has really come on lately and is turning into a nice bull. He is homozygous black by pedigree but we are in the process of getting him confirmed by DNA. His sire and dam are both tested Homozygous Black.
1913 is a really good bull he just came out horned. We have dehorned him. His sire is Jo Envision and this bulls epds for calving ease and birth weight are in the top 10% in the ABHA. This bull would work good on a set of heifers.
Another Homozygous Black Socks son that is a little older and ready to service more cows this spring. He is homozygous black and has two shots of Jo Lightning! He is moderate in his frame but has good thickness and length.
This bull keeps getting better each day. He is a son of Black Sock 8502 and he really put his stamp on these calves. They have a very consistent look and all performed well from birth to yearling. This bull is moderate in frame but has good thickness.
This is the first son of Jo Rockwell 0C ET. Rockwell is a flush brother to Jo Atomic and we are excited about what he will bring to our herd. 2106 should be an excellent calving ease bull that exhibits good length and thickness.
2965 is another good Jo Rockwell son sitting at 94% and homozygous polled. We purchased his dam from Jensen Herefords and we are beyond excited for her. She is a daughter steaming from Jensen's famous Salsa line and R Leader. This bull is packed with potential.
If you are looking for a bull that you can breed to heifers with confidence this is the bull for you. 2452 is in the top 1% for calving ease and the top 2% for his birth weight EPDs. Not to mention he is in the top 15% for milking. He is a bull that has good length and frame and should work really well for someone.
Rising Rev is a homozygous black Jo Revolution 9506 son out of a direct daughter of JN Balder C245. This bull should make some really good maternally built heifers. With Hereford greats Revolution 4R, Harland and P606 in his pedigree he is sure to make an impact in a herd.
2202 was raised by TMC cattle company and does he ever impress in person. His overall thickness and length may be the best in this bullpen. He is a son of 8431 and a really good hereford cow. This bull would go great on a set of cows.
This son of Jo Domino 0832 is 94% and checks a lot of boxes. He is fairly balanced across his epds and is turning into a good looking bull. His dam goes back to Hereford bulls Validated, Revolution 4R and Ribeye. He has a lot of maternal power backing him.
Hero Rev is a bull we are very excited about. He is a son of our top ratioing cow. Over her time here she has produced 8 calves with an average weaning weight retro of 109, which is exactly where 2205 lands. He had an actual birth weight of 62 lbs as well. This bull has all the look and style you can ask for. Pigmented in both eyes, thick throughout and plenty of length. We will be reserving an in-herd semen interest in this bull.
Another good son of Hero 8431, he has all the look and style you can ask for with plenty of length and thickness. This bull would go well on a set of cows and really produce some excellent calves.
Here is another sleep at night heifer bull ranking in the top 1% for both calving ease and birth weight epds. His sire is one of the top calving ease bulls in the ABHA. Combine that with his dam being a direct daughter of High Roller he is sure to make some really good females.
2000 is a bull that has a ton of calving ease built into his pedigree. If you look back through his pedigree you will find multiple top calving ease bulls.
This is one of the top bulls in this offering. He is one of the first sons of Jo Honcho 0534 who we are very excited about. He is Homozygous Black and Homozygous polled. He is from a power house cow and had an adjusted weaning weight of 644lbs and a weaning weight ratio of 109. This bull will add pounds to a calf crop.
This is a son of Jo Rockstar also goes back to the flush sister of High Roller. This bull should go into a heard and make great females yet still produce good length in his calves
Here is another homozygous black and homozygous polled bull that checks a lot of boxes. He should combine a lot of thickness with length in his calves while having some maternal backing behind him.
X-Ray Vision is sired by Jo Envision who is one of the top calving ease sires in the ABHA. Not only should this bull offer some calving ease but his wean weight ratio was 101. Put this bull to work in a cow herd or with heifers and watch him do some really good things.
Big Max is just that, a super thick bull with outstanding length. Put this bull on your mature cows and watch him work for you. His sire Honcho produced an outstanding set of bulls and this bull has potential to be one of the best. He had a weaning weight ratio of 110.
This bull is really starting to come into his own in a couple months he is going to be very impressive. His pedigree is stacked with Black Hereford greats and we are really excited about his sire Jo Rockwell. This bull is Homozygous Black! He boasted a weaning weight ratio of 106.
2336 is very exciting. He is a son of Jo Ironman who knocked his first calf crop out of the park. This bull goes back to some excellent hereford bloodlines and black hereford lines. This bull had a wean weight ratio of 111. Put him on your mature cows and get those pounds at weaning time.
This bull is just shy of being purebred at 87.47%. He is a son of Ironman and goes back to Durango and Hometown on the hereford side. He had a great spread from a birth weight of 64 lbs to an adjusted weaning weight of 577 lbs.
This Rockstar son is homozygous black and homozygous polled and offers a good amount of calving ease and performance. He is backed by many of the Black Hereford greats. He is high percentage and is really turning into a good looking bull.
2336 is very exciting. He is a son of Jo Ironman who knocked his first calf crop out of the park. This bull goes back to some excellent hereford bloodlines and black hereford lines. This bull had a wean weight ratio of 111. Put him on your mature cows and get those pounds at weaning time.
Another really good Honcho son. He is 91% HB and a purebred. This is a bull that would go really good and a set of mature cows.
This Ironman son has all the parts. He combines an outstanding look with his performance. He had a wean weight ratio of 112 with an actual birth weight of 55 lbs. Talk about a bull with spread. This is a bull we have considered using and may retain an in herd semen interest.
This Jo Envision son goes back to Jo Launch Pad on the maternal side. He is built for calving ease yet exceeded our expectation for growth. With a wean weight ratio of 110 lbs off a first calf heifer and a birth weight of 66 lbs he is bound to be one of the top bulls from this offering.
2923 is a good solid herd bull prospect. He should offer a good amount of calving ease along with a good amount of growth and length.
2321 is a bull that has performance written all over his pedigree. He is an Ironman son that traces back to Hereford greats like X51, On Target and Revolution 4R. He had a weaning weight ratio of 110 and should carry that growth through to his calves. He is best suited for a mature cow herd.
Hero's Vadar has a lot of potential to be a really exceptional bull. He is homozygous black and homozygous polled.While he is younger I do believe with his pedigree he will turn into a great bull. He is a son of our 8431 bull out of a full sister to Jo Dark Vadar.
Another young bull here. He would be ready mid summer to breed some cows or get your bull bought early for the fall calving season. He is a son of Jo Envision that has a great look and should make some really good females himself.
